Thanks for finding your way to Period Shop. I’m Brenda Tootell, founder of Period Shop.

I’ve been working in the reusable period care and menstrual health space for over 15 years and launched Australia’s first Australian-made menstrual cup. That experience gave me a front-row seat to the gaps in period care — not just in product choice, but in education, inclusivity and honest conversations about bodies. I’ve seen firsthand how menstrual, reproductive and pelvic health are interconnected with overall health, confidence and wellbeing.

My team and I are focused on;

  • supporting customers to confidently choose and use period care and pelvic health products.
  • collaborating with health practitioners, educators, brands and product developers across the period care and pelvic health space
  • ongoing learning to continually expand our understanding of menstrual health, pelvic floor function, anatomy-inclusive design, sustainability and body literacy

Period Shop was founded in 2016 based on years of hands-on experience and the understanding that every body is different — no single product works for everyone.

We offer choice and guidance without shame or judgment and exist to:

  • Provide an extensive, inclusive range of period care and pelvic health products for all anatomies and life stages
  • Foster wellness through education, not fear or misinformation
  • Empower people to feel confident and comfortable in their bodies
  • Celebrate body positivity, diversity and lived experience
