Sea Sponges are a reusable and completely natural alternative to disposable tampons.
IntimateCare Sea Sponges are luxuriously soft and kind to your body. Harvested directly from the Mediterranean Sea, they are free from chemicals, completely non-toxic and biodegradable. Each sponge can be trimmed to size for a comfortable fit.
If cared for properly, your sea sponge can last between 3–6 months, possibly more. Intimate Care sponges also come in plastic-free packaging—a huge win for the environment.

Sponge Care
As sponges grow in the sea with other marine life, they may contain traces of typical sea residue. Simply clean or sterilise your sponge before using it on or inside your body.
Wash your sponge well between uses. Allow it to air dry away from surfaces.
Cleaning Instructions
Choose the cleaning method that works best for you:
- Wash with mild soap under warm water
- Soak for 10 minutes in a 1:10 water-to-vinegar mixture
- Soak for 10 minutes in water with 1 tbsp baking soda
Thoroughly rinse after cleaning and leave to air dry before storing.
Do not:
- Use harsh soaps or chemicals, which may damage the delicate fibres, upset pH levels or cause skin irritation
- Boil your sponges, as this can cause toughening and shrinking
- Soak your sponges longer than recommended, as they may deteriorate
